Project Name : Construction of Intake Mostakbal Misr
Project Details : The project (Infrastructure & Irrigation Project) Contains a Cover Dam, regulator,Open Channel with RipRap, Diaphram Walls, Micro Tunneling, Lift Station & Slip Form Works.

Project Description :

1- Review project document (B.O.Q., technical specifications, vendor list, drawings, Cost Center, Cost matrix & Cost estimation files) & visit project site, locate with the owner the location of Public / Private waste areas.
2- Understand project scope & Establish Delivery Methodology.
3- Determine project requirements for project (organizational chart / direct & indirect cost).
4- Execute water channel cover dam, six 38 meter deep shafts using diaphragm walls technologies, and slip form to fasten the execution of inner shafts walls, Jaking of 3200 m prestressed pipes lines using closed face micro tunnelling machine, implement 3.5 kilometre length of 124 m wide and 16 meter depth open water channel with riprap for slope protection, regulator construction to control water flow and level over the water channel and huge pump station which contain 14 pumps and 14 steel pipes force main.
5- Determine best practices for construction methodologies such as fill & cut methods, form works methods, pouring methods, slipform methods, micro tunnelling methods, piping & networks methods, steel fabrication methods, welding methods, pilling methods, applying soil improvement methods, concrete works methods, steel erection methods, finishes methods, pluming methods, cabling methods, asphalt methods, interlocking methods & etc.
6- Review contract agreement & add any necessary clause to achieve the project success (Cost / Time) till the signature of contract.
7- Kick off meeting /Site handing over and add any comments may affect the project time/cost, determine site entrances & exits, Storage area & location of Public / Private waste areas.
8- Start the initiation of site Mobilization & Budget zero with project team.
9- Direct Planning & cost control team to prepare and get approval of project progress sheet/ activities break down and project time/ procurement schedule (Base line).
10- Direct Technical office team to prepare material list, shop drawing & MAR.
11- Direct QC team to get Approval of Quality Plan, method of statements for different activities & ITP.
12- Direct safety team to prepare & approve Safety plan.
13- Prepare communication plan between site and head office (Storage / procurement / administration / secretary, QC & safety).
14- Manage project internal & external daily, weekly and monthly reports.
15- Follow up project costs for direct/ indirect/ fixed & variable costs on the daily basis with all project departments (Storage / procurement / administration / secretary & PCD).
16- Follow up project construction, materials status & approval (MAR), shopdrawing status (SD), quality control (IR, NCR, MIR), letters & submittals through related logs.
17- Follow up Material arrival with head office procurement team.
18- Request for approval of daily materials & projects' equipment from head office as per company policy & procedures.
19- Request for approval of labours & making contracts with Sub contractors & 3rd party as per company policy & procedures.
20- Observe project scope & time schedule, and ensure to demand any time/ cost claims with the right procedures according with contract agreement, Fidic & international practices.
21- Coordinate with all stakeholders and other contractors, and report to client with any work damages / delays.
22- Direct project team to get any required permits.
23- Apply Value engineering to minimise project cost from our previous experience.
24- Attend weekly & Monthly meeting with client and Consultant, explain area of concern and ensure to get client satisfaction.
25- Attend monthly meeting with upper management and present project progress / challenges.
26- Give the managerial & Technical supports to project teams, and deal with unexpected problems that may occur during the project.
27- Direct project team to prepare & approve project T.O.C. and follow up the completion of client / consultant snag list.
28- Ensure that all works on site are excited as per Safety regulation and quality standards.
29- Identify potential cost savings opportunities and implement measures to minimize expenses.
30- Apply Compliance and Regulatory Affairs.
